Family meal time is important to us. Sitting down to dinner together may be the only time in the day that we are all together and get to enjoy some good food, conversation, and laughter. My teens can just brown some ground beef and saute some fresh baby spinach, bacon and prepare the Smoky Cheeseburger Skillet, according to the package directions, then top with tomatoes. Voila! Easy peasy and pretty darn tasty. They will even make a simple green salad and sliced a loaf of Italian bread (cause they are awesome like that), and we have a complete meal to sit down to. Way to adult, teens! It’s so yummy and so easy to make, you can’t go wrong!
All of the Marie Callender’s Family Recipes are so simple to make. All you need to do is add some fresh ingredients for a fresh take on dinner. I love that we can add different ingredients to put a twist on a classic. We always add bacon, spinach, and tomatoes to the Smoky Cheddar Burger meal and it is amazing, but you could also add some red bell peppers, mushrooms or zucchini and it would be so good!
