Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls
It’s summer! Bring on the lazy days at the pool and exciting summer road trips. No matter what yu have planned I know we can all agree that healthy snacking on the go with kids is tough. Most days I just throw a couple bags of raisins or goldfish in the back seat and call it a day. The problem with that method is that since those types of snacks are lacking protein and fiber, the kids are hungry again 5 seconds after they eat them. Sigh…..
In a quest to end the constant snack battle I enlisted the help of Bob’s Red Mill Nutritional Boosters. Usually, we add this protein powder to our smoothies in the morning, but I just realized that we can use them for on the go snacking as well!
I always choose Bob’s Red Mill when it comes to protein powder. I have long been a fan of their almond flour, flax seed meal, and numerous other healthy eating products so it seemed only natural that I would love their nutritional boosters as well. Bob’s Red Mill Nutritional Boosters are plant-based protein at its finest they are an excellent source of protein (20g per serving) and fiber and even has probiotics and pre-biotic fiber.
Making snacks and smoothies with Bob’s Red Mill Protein Powder means that my kids and I stay full longer and put a stop to the endless snacking loop caused by nutritionally flat snacks.
Ready for the incredibly easy recipe??
