My kids love music and my family is pretty musical and creative. My sister taught herself to play the piano and composes beautiful music. My oldest listens to all kinds of music all day long and prefers her iPod over TV any day. I would love to be able to teach them how to play an instrument, but sadly, I am not musical. I can’t sing, I probably can’t even hum and I certainly will never be in a position to teach anyone the finer points of piano playing.
The thing is though, I want my kids to at least have the opportunity to learn about music and the basics of playing a piano. I’m not going to teach them because I would like them to have musical knowledge outside my incredibly poor rendition of chopsticks. I can’t afford private or even group lessons for 6 kids. What’s a non-musical homeschool mom to do? The answer is KinderBach Online Piano Lesson Membership with Teacher Corner!
About the Program:
KinderBach is an online music program for younger kids (ages 3-7) to learn how to play the piano. KinderBach was created by Karri Gregor. With Miss Karri’s program children learn to play the piano while acquiring a basic music foundation. Miss Karri uses cute little characters to teach basic concepts like music vocabulary, music theory, physical technique, note reading, rhythm, singing, and music composition.
KinderBach membership is available for a special price of $95.88 (that’s just $7.99 a month!). With this membership you get access to 6 levels of music education taught through web video lessons with downloadable activity and coloring pages to reinforce what they are learning in Miss Karri’s video lessons. There are 10 weeks of lessons per level, and there are 4 video sessions per week. That’s 60 weeks and 240 lessons! This is a great value and one membership can be used for your entire family! Want some more good news? You can try the first 2 weeks completely FREE!
For the musically challenged parent (raises hand) there is also the incredible teacher corner where you can download lesson plan books, teacher aid books, student books, and audio MP3s for the first 5 levels. I was using this program with 3 of my littles and this feature was a lifesaver for helping me teach multiple kids at once.
