How to Make Sunflower Seed Flour. Wonderful flour to use in place of almond flour in gluten free recipes for those with nut allergies or sensitives.

Sunflower seed flour is the perfect baking alternative to any nut flour in your paleo/gluten free baking endeavors. You won’t believe how easy (and cheap) it is to make!

Ingredients:

1 cup raw, unsalted sunflower seed kernels
Coffee grinder

Put the sunflower kernels in the coffee grinder and pulse until a fine flour is formed. You want to make sure to pulse and not grind continuously as sunflower seeds will quickly turn to a sun butter (just as good, but probably not what you are going for)

That’s it! I really doesn’t get any easier than that 🙂 Enjoy!

Now that is simply the most simple recipe that I've ever seen in my life. That one, I have also got to try.

Well that's one I never heard of before. I had no idea you could make sunflower seed flour. I wonder what it tastes like in a recipe. I'd love to give it a try.

I never knew you could make sunflower seed flour. (Wow, that sounds weird too.)
Of course, before I tried eating wheat-free I hadn't heard of almond flour/meal or coconut flour either. Of course, I don't have a coffee grinder. Wonder what would happen in the Magic Bullet.

I have been happily baking with sunflower seed flour, which I quickly find up in seconds in my NutriBullet.
