Paleo Whipped Cream

Let’s face it, there are many yummy treats that are better with whipped cream, something as simple as strawberries can be made into a fancy dessert with the addition of some whipped cream.

There are 2 different ways that I make healthy, paleo whipped cream. Which one you use depends on how hardcore paleo you are.

Whipped Cream with Coconut Cream:

1 cup of coconut cream (Trader Joe’s carries canned coconut milk that is pretty good, otherwise just chill a can of your favorite coconut milk overnight and scoop the cream off the top)
1 tbsp honey granules
1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Put the cream in a bowl and mix on high until stiff peaks form. Add the honey granules and vanilla extract and continue to mix until well combined.

Whipped Cream with Grass Fed Cream:

1 cup of grass fed heavy cream (we use raw cream from a local farm, but you can buy grass fed cream at whole foods)
1 tbsp honey granules
1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Put the cream in a bowl and mix on high until stiff peaks form. Add the honey granules and vanilla extract and continue to mix until well combined.

Either way you choose to make it, you will end up with a delicious topping for any dessert!

    Very cool... I had never thought of using coconut cream, honey granules and vanilla to make whipped cream. It sounds great!
