*Caution, affiliate links ahead…Don’t worry, I’ll use the money for something practical, like wine…. or a pony!
The kids had such a great time making this project! For each heart we used a different painting technique.
For the first one we just used a paint brush and tempura paint.
Next we used Q-tips to make paint dots.
Next up, sponges! We used sponge style brushes to create texture on our hearts.
The last technique we did was the most fun and the kids loved it! We used straws to blow paint around the paper creating amazing designs!
After your creations are dry cut them into various size hearts, glue to a piece of black paper or cardstock and use a green pastel crayon to create the leaves and stems. So easy, so cute and so fun! Happy Valentine’s Day!
