Lazy Halloween Costumes

Sharing is caring!

If you are like me (a total procrastinator) then this post is for you! If Halloween snuck up on you quicker than ghost in a haunted house, then here are my favorite lazy Halloween costumes!

*AFFILIATE LINKS AHEAD…DON’T WORRY, I’LL USE THE MONEY FOR SOMETHING PRACTICAL, LIKE WINE…. OR A PONY!

Lazy Halloween Costumes

1. Identity Thief

Grab some sticky name tags from your local office supply store and fill them with all the names you can think of. The more the better! Stick them all over your shirt and Voila! Instant Identity theft Halloween costume. You can even kick it up a notch with a fedora and some dark shades, you know, to protect your identity 😉

2. Disney Tourist

This one is ridiculously easy, a fanny pack, some mickey mouse ears, a disney-ish t-shirt and you have a fun and super lazy Halloween costume!

3. Ceiling Fan

I’m a huge fan of punny costumes and this is probably my favorite! You can grab iron on printer paper at any craft store. Type some clever words supporting your favorite ceiling and iron it on any old t-shirt you have laying around. Grab some pom poms and you have a very punny and cheap costume!

4. Pigs in a Blanket

Um, how cute are they??? This is probably the easiest last minute lazy Halloween costume on the planet, not to mentions it’s another punny one 😉

For this one, we cut up an egg carton and painted the outsides of the cups pink. A couple of black dots and some string and we some pretty adorable pig noses! For the ears, we just cut triangles of out pink felt and hot glued them onto a cheap plastic head band. Last, we wrapped these cutie patooties in some blankets and we had a pretty worthy costume!

5. Spa Girl

Mud mask, curlers and a bathrobe. Need I say more? This one is great because your skin will look AMAZING the next morning!

6. Bunch of Grapes

This one is pretty self explanatory! We found a purplish shirt, blew up some purple balloons and we had a pretty adorable bunch of grapes! We found the best way to stick the balloons to her shirt was with gold old fashioned duct tape.

7. 404 Error

This is the ultimate slacker costume, but it always gets a good laugh. It is especially good for teenage boys that want maximum candy with minimal effort. Grab some iron-on printer paper and a good typewriter font and you too can have this super lazy Halloween costume.

8. Man Stuck in a Hurricane

Okay, this one takes a little bit of acting to pull off, otherwise you just look like a trash pile. If you want to put in a little tiny bit of work, you don’t even have to leave your house to pull this costume together. All you have to do is turn an old umbrella inside out and tape some strategically placed flyers around your body and you have a fully functional costume! The trick is to walk like you are being blown backward.

9.”When Life Gives You Lemons…”

This is about the most appropriate 2020 costume on the planet, let’s be real. This has been the year of all the life lemons lol! So grab that iron-on t-shirt paper and make a life decal, iron it onto a tshirt you have lying around and grab a bowl of lemons. Boom. Winner.

10. Zoolander

Zoolander never goes out style. Find a zebra print head band and some blue lipstick and of course perfect your blue steel. (Clearly my kiddo needs a bit more work on blue steel lol!)
