Alright guys and dolls, if your ugly mug is headed to Kissimmee, you need to make sure to get your dirty, rotten, filthy, no good keister over to Capone’s Dinner & Show.
Set in a 1920’s ice cream parlor, once you knock 3 times and give the secret phrase you will taken into the underground world of flappers, mobsters and prohibition. Head up to the bar to indulge in a game of 5 card stud or blackjack, there is a one drink minimum up here, but I guarantee you will be entertained the whole time.
Shortly before the show show starts, you will be escorted to your table by various handsome mobsters or gorgeous dames. You start off with an unlimited Italian dinner buffet with all your favorites. Meatballs, lasagna, and fettuccine alfredo just to name of few. There is also a full salad bar and meat carving station. Bring your appetite and a cab driver, included in your ticket is all you can drink beverages (including alcohol!). I was a big fan of the Rum Runner, and they sure were on top of keeping my drink full. If I forget any details about the night, now you know why!
Once we were so full we could burst and nice and tipsy, the show started. The show takes you back in time to Al Capone’s club, Miss. Jewel, Al’s head dame, is your host for the night
she introduces you to Fingers Salvatoire (the goofiest gangster you’ll ever meet!)
his girl Bunny-June,
her wild and *ahem* friendly sisters Hunny and Bunny,
and of course the infamous George “Bugs” Moran, who will adamantly will tell you “Don’t call me Bugs!!!!!”
The show is hilarious and will have you laughing the entire time. Since they rely heavily on audience participation no show is ever the same, the endless supply of Rum Runners, Cape Cods, beer & wine makes for a very fun night indeed.
From the songs, to the stand up comedy, to the showstopping final number, it’s easy to see why this show continues to be so popular! The cast was fantastic, the waiters were completely in character, shouting at the men in the audience and romancing the women. What a fun night! I will be heading back for more next time I’m in town!
