My amazing 10 year old Martha Stewart in training came up with this one all on her own 🙂 Proud mommy moment here! We went strawberry picking a few weeks ago and came back with close to 4 gallons of strawberries from my favorite place to pick anything, Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, GA.

We had more strawberries than we knew what to do with, I made a bunch of jam, but still had a ton of strawberries left so I froze them and figured I’d find something to do with them later. My daughter beat me to it. The next morning she had pulled out the food processor and had thrown the strawberries, some yogurt and a bit of honey in. What came out was pure awesomeness. With just three simple ingredients we had strawberry frozen yogurt that was so good and so good for you!

So proud of my girl for her recipe innovation and her focus on creating healthy recipes for our family.

It’s so easy! Put frozen strawberries, plain yogurt and honey in a food processor (a blender could work too).

Blend until smooth and creamy. That is it! Perfect for a hot summer day 🙂

Two of my favorite things - strawberries and yogurt! I recently moved from SC to Hawaii and I'm sad I'll be missing the U-Pick strawberries this year. Natashalh recently posted...Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip MuffinsMy Profile

Love this. The strawberry farm is about 3 miles from us; going to pick some more this week! I also love when the kids do something like this on their own. It's one of my favorite things about homeschooling. ;)
