These Sriracha Sliders are the perfect party food with just enough kick excite your tastebuds and leave you begging for more!
Who loves a good summer party? MEEEEEEEE (waves hand excitedly)!!! Summer parties are my favorite kind of party. Why you ask? Because of the food! Especially burgers! Summer and burgers go hand in hand at my house!
Honestly, I love all kinds of party food, but hands down my favorite party food are sliders! Mini burgers and sandwiches? Yes, please! They are just so cute and portable and so tasty. So in honor of those adorable little party appetizers, I’m sharing one of my favorites slider recipes. Sriracha Sliders! I love things with a kick and these Sriracha Sliders are the perfect party food, they have just enough kick to spice things up, but not too much that you need to go running for a glass of milk immediately 😉
Not only will these sliders give your tastebuds a spicy little mouth party, but they are incredibly juicy thanks to my secret ingredient, Blue Plate Mayonnaise. I recently found out that you can add mayo to a burger patty and take it from meh to OMG, this is the best thing I have ever eaten. The eggs and oil in the mayo add flavor and moisture that won’t burn off with heat making it the perfect ingredient for your summer burger!
There are a lot of mayonnaise brands out there, but I only use Blue Plate Mayonnaise. Let me tell you why. It’s made like homemade with a simple time-honored recipe of oil, vinegar and only the egg yolks, making it extra rich and creamy and the perfect ingredient to make moist and juicy burgers. It was Voted #1 Mayonnaise by Epicurious and it has been the same recipe since 1927, which makes me happy because I’m not a huge fan of change. Now that you know you are only minutes away from a mouthwatering spicy slider, I bet you’re dying for the recipe….. Well, I guess I’ll give it to you, you have been pretty patient while I rave about Blue Plate Mayo 😉
- Ingredients for the sliders:
- 1 pound ground round or sirloin
- 2 tbsp Blue Plate Mayo
- 1 tbsp favorite meat seasoning mix (I use Canadian steak seasoning)
- 2 tsp sriracha
- 1 package of slider buns
- Sriracha Aioli Ingredients:
- 1 cup Blue Plate Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 lime, juiced
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
- Divide hamburger mix into 8 small balls, then flatten them between 2 pieces of wax paper
- Heat up skillet or grill and cook until no longer pink inside.
- Place on buns and top with sriracha aioli (recipe below) and some cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion (optional) and enjoy!
Directions for sriracha aioli:
Mix mayo and sriracha together until thoroughly combined. Stir in lime juice Spread on sliders for little kick. Enjoy!
