Maple Bacon Popcorn
Ready to have your mind and taste buds blown? Y’all this maple bacon popcorn is just about the best thing on the planet. Butter, brown sugar and maple syrup drizzled all over some freshly popped popcorn and topped with candied bacon……O.M.G. You are gonna think you died and went to popcorn heaven.
I made this the other day for my kids and husband to snack on while I went out with friends…..It didn’t last long enough for me to get my shoes on. They practically inhaled it. It’s pretty sure bet that your family will too.

Ingredients
- 6 cups of popped popped corn
- 1 package bacon
- 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 cup + 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 tbsp of butter
- 1 tsp baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Place bacon on a cooling rack over a foil wrapped baking sheet (one with an edge around it so the grease doesn't spill over)
- Brush the maple syrup on the bacon slices
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon
- Bake for 20 minutes
- When down allow to cool for 30 minutes
- When bacon has cooled tear it up into small pieces, set aside
- Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium heat
- Add brown sugar and maple syrup and bring to a boil
- Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes
- Stir in baking soda
- Pour mixture over popcorn, add bacon and stir until evenly coated
