Cranberry Fizz Cocktail Recipe

I had every intention of posting this in time for you to enjoy on New Year’s Eve, but alas, life got in the way and I’m posting it a few days late. Oh well, it’s still good and there isn’t a rule that says you can’t drink cranberry drinks past New Years Day, right?

In fact, with the impending “blizzard” headed into Atlanta this weekend, it seems like the perfect time to sit by the fire and get a bit tipsy while sipping this cranberry fizz cocktail as the snow falls and immobilizes the entire state of Georgia. Really, we are only expecting 1-2 inches, but it will likely shut the city down for a month. Oh well, more time to drink and cook!

Honestly, I would drink this all year long if I could make my cranberry sauce last. No matter how much I make we always seem to eat it all and there is never any left past January….sigh….

I quite like the mocktail variation with orange juice for us 'non-drinkers'. Lovely recipe.
